Within my recent project, I am challenging the stereotype that it is to be ‘unladylike’ to use profanity, although women are progressing through the generations, they are still being judged by the words they choose to use in their vocabulary. As a photographer my main priority is to make the models feel comfortable whilst shooting in order to truly capture, the person’s personality and character within the photographs. My work is a combination of serious social topics however in a more light hearted style, creating fun pieces of work that have a deeper meaning in which the audience can see by looking deeper into the images. Basically I like to challenge the status quo. This current project is a fun twist on challenging femininity, a series which allows women to express themselves. However more importantly, put their middle finger up to worrying about being perceived as “ladylike”.

Because ultimately, who actually fucking cares?
